MMOGULS Social Network News
MMOGULS Social Network News
Lots of changes have occured at the MMOGULS Social network.
Hard to discuss them all, many of them are taking place in
the back end and aren't quite ready for full prime time but
here's a quick run down of what's happened in the past few
weeks.
Games
More games have been added. We're getting lots of requests
for different kinds of games. Our first goal is to get a
diversity of basic flash games added covering multiple
genre's, from arcade to strategy games. We're also working
being the scenes to score some major deals with larger game
publishers.
Once that's done we'll move on to integrating those games
with the site so you can start posting your own high scores
and showing off your favorites with your own custom widgets
on your own profile pages.
For now, the most recent games added are Cell Warfare, Power
Pool 2, The Space Game, and Buggle Stars. Check them out at
the games page
MMOGULS Mall
We've been working on integration with the MMOGULS Mall. I'm
sure you heard about it when you became a mmogul. Well the
day is almost here. If you edit your profile details you'll
see a new tab on your profile for MMOGULS Mall information.
If you have your MMOGULS Mall card or id, enter it into your
profile to be able to take full advantage of future MMOGULS
Mall integrations.
Over time you'll see some pages will show a MMOGULS Mall logo.
These are co-branders, clicking on the image will take you to
their mall with your mmoguls mall id.
We've heard your requests loud and clear and we're working on
twitter integration. You'll be able to link your MMOGULS
profile to your own twitter feed.
New MMOGULS Replicated sites
Are on the way too. I've seen the layout designs and boy are
they pretty. No beta yet but they'll be delivered soon.

Paradigm Shift?
Every so often in the business world, including the MLM world,
a paradigm shift occurs in how companies generate and run
business. One could argue, the initiation of network marketing,
as a paradigm shift within the marketing community and the
older guys amongst us have definitely seen a shift from the
cleaning product days of AMWAY.
Today I want to highlight a company called mmoguls. I recently
joined this company as they are within their prelaunch stage. I
found the concept intriguing, they essentially are trying to cash
in on a current entertainment and socialization paradigm shift
and by so doing could create a whole new paradigm shift in the
MLM world!
MMOGULS is creating a MLM distribution network for online
video games and social networking sites. Yes online video
games. Sound crazy, well it may be but consider a few points.

know several partners that are diehards, we are talking 40, 50+
year old extremely successful men battling it out day in and day
out in the virtual world of AZEROTH.
The game itself has 10 million subscribers which at $15.00 a
month pop brings in about 150 MILLION dollars EVERY MONTH.
No shipping, no bottling, no tied up in customs, no tied up in our
eastern carrier hub, no physical product. Every month people pay
for digital information and this information has created its own
economy in the form of gold farmers.
With this in mind, who wouldn’t want to cash in on this emerging
entertainment venue. MMOGULS also plans to include some sort
of 3D social network within its business strategy. That being said,
their flagship game is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online
Role Playing Game) based upon a top rated science fiction movie
and TV series under contract with a major motion picture studio.

THIS IS WHERE MMOGULS WILL SHINE.
Gaming is social. Perhaps once upon a time 15-20 years ago that was a hard concept to conceive. Visions of kids in front of Atari Home Entertainment Systems holding joysticks and place space invaders. Sure the family might gather around and watch, laugh a bit even play a game or to but despite being interactive media, it wasn't socially interactive. Most people could point at a lively game of Scrabble and name a dozen ways it was more social than video gaming.
The genre evolved of course. First came the video arcades. Lots of people would go, mostly kids, and hang out at the mall. If you're from my generation then you remember these years fondly. Plopping quarters into Pacman, Gauntlet, Pole Position and more. Kids would gather round certain games and you could argue this was social, it certainly was a hang out. But just doesn't compare to the hobby as it stands today.
Gone are the days of video arcades. These days video gaming pervades every part of our lives. Even our cell phones play games more sophisticated than those old arcade games. Combined with an online world, everyone has (or has heard of) Facebook, Myspace, Itunes, Google. We can't live without our internet connections. Food, music, directions, movie tickets even just grabbing the news. Not too mention all the ways we stay connected using online tools from instant messages over the phone to e-mail and more.
It's only natural than that video games have evolved. Online is where it's at. Even if you don't play online games you probably know someone who does. Eight years ago it was not something people talked about but these days whether or not it's creating a virtual band in Guitar Hero or Rockband or talking about your latest adventure in world of warcraft, it seems like everyone is doing it.
ENTER MMOGULS. All these gamers are paying to play online. Companies everywhere are making millions of gaming addictions, game sales. The entertainment industry sells billions in video games every year generating more revenue than Hollywood. All of what was a closet hobby just 10 years ago. Some games are even subscription based, people pay a regular monthly fee to continue playing a product, up to $20 a month! That's a far cry from the 25 cents a game mentality of the old video arcade.
But if all this money is being made off of video gamers, how come so few of them every have opportunities to get something back? In this day and age of frequent flyer miles, credit cards that pay you back, valuable customer rewards programs, why is no one rewarding the gamers? After all the multi-billion dollar industry of video game entertainment wouldn't be where it is without the hard earned money of the gamers themselves.

The MMOGULS social network beta version is up and running, and has released some of the first games to play on the site! Awesome job!
As we develop MMOGULS Social Network we'll be adding all kinds of pages. Because this is the beta preview of MMOGULS SN we're still clearing quite a bit of dust and ash from construction effort. As we test ways to deliver games to you the site will evolve and change. For now, here's some great games to play (this list will keep growing as we find more). Over time these games will become more integrated and more involved with the network.

The game will feature team combat as well as team problem solving. As the TV series progresses, storylines within the online game will tie into episodes that have been recently broadcast. Other games under development include auto racing (where you design your own racecar using sponsored parts with worldwide competitions), a western world game, bass fishing, football, a vampire based game and a medieval based game.
Through the Mmoguls community you can meet your friends and travel to other sites to work as a team competing against others around the world or compete against each other.

* You earn 10% on your Lesser Volume Group

Providing Leadership in team-building is the path to an unlimited upside
* The Team Leadership Override (TLO) Program was created to reward our Affiliates who achieve Higher Ranks, for providing leadership in team building for affiliates in their organization.
* This program lets you earn a TLO on the affiliates that you personally enroll in MMOGULS, and those in their organization down to a maximum of seven (7) generations of new leaders.
* As your rank increases, so does the number of generations on which you can be paid a TLO
* A generation ends when a Qualified Rank-4 or above is found, regardless of how many levels below you they are.
Unlimited Width! Every person you enroll creates a new leg that when developed has the potential to create additional income for you in TLOs.
Leadership Bonus Pool
Mmoguls has set aside 2% of Total Company Point Volume to be paid in cash quarterly, and divided as follows:
